After observing contamination in upperclassmen residence compost bins, Vassar’s Office of Sustainability interns collected data and collaborated with students, suppliers, and collectors to address the issue. They introduced new bins, bags, and signage to improve composting. This ongoing project aims to foster sustainable composting, recycling, and waste practices at Vassar.
