Description
Intending to accurately demonstrate the role of its forest conversation practices, Vassar wants to do a 3rd- party verification of the carbon offset generated through vine removal and reforestation. With these two goals in mind, I was asked to choose the most suitable protocol for Vassar’s needs. Funds generated through these offsets can be utilized for the preservation of VFEP. I also analyzed the cost of 3rd-party verification and peer verification. A project done by an Environmental Defense Fund Climate Corps Fellow.
